Please be informed that in the Official Gazette no. 260 dated 30 March 2020 was published the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 33/2020, which establishes the following tax incentives:

 

• Bonuses for early payment of corporate income taxes.
• Taxable persons registered for normal VAT purposes do NOT make effective payment of VAT to customs authorities for imports of medicines, protective equipment, other medical devices or equipment and sanitary materials that can be used to prevent, limit, treat and combat COVID-19, imports carried out during the period of state of emergency and in the next 30 calendar days from its termination date.
